The DC-Journalism annual report is an edited volume that gathers case studies, articles and essays from members to highlight the impact of digital policies on the sustainability of journalism and news media.

All members of the DC-Journalism (individuals and/or organizations) are encouraged to contribute to the report. The goal of the report is to present a wide range of examples, experiences and perspectives from the journalism and media development community to the other Internet governance stakeholders. We highly encourage and appreciate empirical and conceptual contributions from the Global Majority countries that are often under-represented in discussions on digital governance.

The 2024 report theme is "AI & Journalism". The broad theme is intended to cover the impact on news media of the various issues related to the use of generative Artificial Intelligence, including pressures created by AI governance, effects on content, effects on media viability, and risks.
