Our system of food and nutrition supports is like a power grid that moves healthy food to children and families - in New Hampshire, the grid is well developed in some areas and patchy or non-existent in others. A hunger free New Hampshire will require making sure all communities are plugged into the grid, so that everyone eligible for food and nutrition support can benefit from it. That is why I am pledging my support to efforts that address the structural causes of hunger, and ensure our systems of support for food and nutrition are working effectively and efficiently throughout our state.
