The Waze Editor's community is recruiting new Mentors, to help inexperienced editors learn about WME and the community.
As a mentor, you are required to:
- Communicate with your country's Mentoring Coordinator and other leaders (Country coordinators or Champs)
- Patiently teach inexperienced editors about WME and the community, through a platform of your choice (Slack / Discord / Chat / Emails / Video calls, etc.)
- Follow current guidelines or Wazeopedia for your country
- Be a team player: support your new editors and collaborate with community leaders
Can I apply?
Yes, if you...
- Are a level +4 editor (note that some countries accept mentors who are level +3) 💪🏽
- Are well versed in your mentoring county's editing rules 📍
- Speak the language of your mentoring country 🗣️
- Are a kind, and patient person, who likes to teach and has good communication skills ❤️
