Individual Coaching is for Vocal Performance Majors only.

Please submit this form by Friday, January 3, 2020.

As Individual Coaching are suppressed from the Class Schedule, you will need a Class Number in order to register. Submitting this form lets your applied advisor know that you intend to enroll in individual coaching in Spring 2020 and that you are requesting a Class Number. Once you have received the class number you are responsible for enrolling in Individual Coaching by the end of the first week of classes, through CIS.

In order to take individual coaching you must be enrolled in music courses and large ensembles required for your degree program.

Undergraduate Students: Following approval by your Applied Advisor, you will receive your Class Number via your UMail Account.

Graduate Students: Following approval by your Applied Advisor, you will receive your Class Number via your UMail Account.

This Class Number is the property of the University of Utah and may not be shared with other students. Please register for individual coaching no later than the end of the first week of classes.

Please note that you must be enrolled in an approved Large Ensemble each semester that you are enrolled in Individual Coaching.

Once you have enrolled in individual coaching through CiS, you should be in contact with your individual coaching teacher as soon as possible to arrange a time for the first lesson. Any difficulty in getting in contact with your teacher should be reported to the School of Music Office immediately.

Undergraduate-1 credit hour individual coaching= a minimum of 25-minutes per week for 14 weeks (Total Minimum Instruction=350 minutes per semester). Special fee of $238/semester to cover costs associated with providing individual instruction.

Graduate-1 credit hour lessons= a minimum of 50-minutes per week for 14 weeks (Total Minimum Instruction=700 minutes per semester). Special fee of $475/semester to cover costs associated with providing individual instruction.
