Мета свята - поширювати та актуалізувати українську культурну спадщину загалом та вишиті сорочки зокрема.
Тож одягайте свої сорочки, беріть родичів та друзів і приходьте на свято.
У програмі заходу:
- показ документального фільму про вишиті сорочки “Спадок нації. Вишити, щоб вижити” (мова - українська з англійськими субтитрами)
- професійна фотосесія
- частування традиційними українськими солодощами

Join us to celebrate the World Vyshyvanka Day on May 16th, 5pm-8pm at Bosnia House.
World Embroidery Day is a holiday that unites Ukrainians through space and time
and is one of the most popular holidays of Ukrainians and foreigners in solidarity with Ukraine all over the world.
The purpose of the holiday is to spread and actualize Ukrainian cultural heritage in general and embroidered shirts in particular.
So put on your shirts, grab your relatives and friends and come celebrate.
Event program includes:
- screening of a documentary film about embroidered shirts "The Heritage of the Nation. Embroider to survive" (Ukrainian language with English subtitle)
- professional photo shoot
- a treat with traditional Ukrainian sweets
