About VietRISE:
VietRISE, founded in 2018, is a community-based organization based in Garden Grove, CA. Our mission is to advance social justice and empower low-income Vietnamese and immigrant communities in Orange County. We build leadership and create systematic change through organizing, narrative change, cultural empowerment, and civic engagement.
Event Details:
VietRISE is excited to be hosting our 3rd Community Listening Session on Thursday, October 3 from 6pm to 8pm.

Location: VietRISE Office (14351 Euclid St #1M, Garden Grove, CA 92843)

We will be providing food and refreshments! 

Also, we highly encourage all attendees to bring along someone who would be interested in attending

Language Translation
This listening session will be conducted in English. If you require translation support, please let us know in advance. We are planning to host more sessions in the future and will continue to explore language support for participants.
What to expect:
Our third community listening session of this year will focus on the upcoming state and local ballot measures. We encourage young voters in OC to come share their insight and experiences on voting and upcoming ballot measures. This session will help us build a foundation for growing and supporting civic participation that advances housing, economic, and social justice in Orange County.

We will have a brief workshop presentation, a facilitated discussion session, and an interactive activity for community members to share their thoughts on the upcoming ballot measures.
