Veterans' Day Celebration

On Friday, November 10, 2023 we will have a Veterans Day celebration to honor our CRES community veterans and active military. This could be a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, sibling, or cousin of students in our CRES community.

All veterans/active military who would like to be part of this ceremony must RSVP here by Friday, November 3rd. To encourage the continued health of our students, staff and honored guests, we have several options by which Veterans/Active Military may participate in our celebration this year:

1. Veterans/Active Military come in to school. We would be honored to have that veteran/active military in-person to meet with an individual class.
2. Veterans/Active Military meet in-person or virtually with our classes. We would be honored to have that veteran/active military meet with classes.

Schedule of Events for Friday, Nov. 10th Veterans Day Ceremony

9:15-9:25 Honored guests assemble in the Gymnasium

9:35-9:40 National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance, and Moment of Silence

9:40-9:50 Principal welcome

9:50-10:00 Recognize Veterans (Name, rank and branch)

10:00-10:10 Color Guard recessional and students return to class

10:15-10:45 Veterans visit the classrooms

If you would like to visit a classroom in-person or virtually, we will pair you with a class. If you already have a class in which you would like to visit, please note that as well.
