eCADEMY K8  2020-2021 Mid-year parent survey
Parents,
We want your feedback!  We are now at the midway point in our school year and want to collect some feedback from you about eCADEMY K8, which will allow us to make data based decisions about any adjustments that are needed this year, and considerations to think about in planning for next year.  We recognize that Parent Teacher Conferences just took place, but we will utilize this information to look through the lens of a whole school perspective.  We also recognize that APS has sent out to parents a district-wide survey, which may look similar, but is not as specific with regard to us as an eCADEMY K8 family.  Finally, we want to thank you for contributing to our survey, so we are able to better plan and provide a quality education to your child(ren).  As the first eCADEMY K8 class, we just want to thank you for helping us create the very best opportunity for students in Albuquerque Public Schools and the surrounding areas.

We are hoping to offer a Heritage Language Program for the 2021-2022 school year, and would like to know what the interest might be from our families.  Here is a description of what you might expect with a Heritage Language Program - "The Heritage language model is designed to provide language instruction to students in the home or heritage language of their family or tribe. When students enter the program, they may be fluent in their home language, or they may have lost their language with generational changes. The goal is to halt home language loss and ultimately recover (or newly develop) native proficiency in the language (Wiley, 1996)."  We are hoping to start a Heritage Language Program for Spanish and for one other tribal language.  Is this something your family would have an interest in for next school year? *
If you responded "yes" or "maybe" to the previous question, would you have an interest in serving on a Parent Advisory Council for our Heritage Language Program?
