Lightfoot Enterprises is a charity that has 15 years history in delivering our HES (Household Energy Survey) advice on energy efficiency and retrofit to householders in Shropshire and Powys.

Our system makes use of trained volunteers in the community who visit the homes of people that have expressed interest in getting advice on their home energy use. The information that our volunteer surveyors collect is passed to a retrofit professional to create a bespoke report and set of recommendations for the householder.

The normal cost of creating a HES report is £100, but Lightfoot at present has received grant funds that enable us to deliver this service for a limited number of households in South Shropshire and Powys for a reduced price of £35 for able to pay households.

If you feel you would benefit from this advice but are not able to afford this fee, we have discretion to waive this, please indicate this on the form below. We believe that every household should have access to impartial expert energy advice, whatever their means.

Our system relies on volunteers and we do not have volunteers in every corner of South Shropshire and Powys. If you would like a survey, please fill in the form below, and we will try to find a volunteer who is close enough to visit you, but we cannot guarantee this.
