Akron Art Museum calls for submissions of video games and table top games from developers, students and game-creators for GameFest Akron, a family-friendly, day-long indie game event at the museum Saturday, November 13, 2021. The arcade will be both onsite at the Akron Art Museum and online. Developers can participate in one or the other. Please indicate below which you prefer.
Please read all instructions thoroughly. Incomplete applications/applications with dead/missing links will not be considered.
The arcade welcomes independent (indie) game developers, those with financial and creative independence and without the financial support or creative direction of large publishers, to submit their work.
Developers of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Both professional and student games are accepted.
The arcade draws attention to the rich opportunities video games offer for creative expression, therefore, indie games of any type or theme are welcome. The AAM looks forward to hosting your digital, non-digital, semi-digital, AR, VR, alt + ctrl, or games of any other type. Show where your creativity has taken you! (Unfortunately due to space restrictions we are not able to host live-action roleplaying games.) Table top games will be showcased only online as a printable or a web-based table top simulator.
Entries are due June 1, 2021. Please e-mail arcade coordinator Chris Totten at
ctotten@pfbstudios.com with any questions.
