Walterboro Band Classic 2023 Registration
The 2023 Walterboro Band Classic will be held September 30, 2023 at Colleton County High School.

Registration Deadline : September 15, 2023

There is NO Registration Fee.  We have never had one!

REGISTRATION DEADLINE
Bands will be scheduled according to postmark.  Only the first 20 bands entering will be accepted.

YOU TUBE AND DIGITAL COMMENTS
Each director will receive digital comments and a video link to your band’s performance to help in future contest preparation.

RULES
We will follow the current SCBDA Rules System.  

ADJUDICATION
We will follow the current SCBDA Scoring system.  

CLASSIFICATIONS
Bands may enter either as they are classified by SCBDA or according to their Horn Line size.  Out of state bands should submit their enrollment for 9-12.  Any band wishing to enter for comments only may enter in Division B.  Bands entering in Division B will receive a participation rating trophy.
Division 1 – Class A or 0-40 horns
Division 2 – Class AA or 41-55 horns
Division 3 – Class AAA  55-70 Horns
Division 4 – Class 4A/5A or over 70 horns

AWARDS
Trophies will be presented to the top three bands in each division.  
The Band scoring the highest score of the day will be awarded the William T. Young True Blue Championship Award.

Trophies will be presented to all bands earning superior and excellent ratings if they are not already in the top three in their division.
Trophies will be presented  Best Horn Line, Best Color Guard, and Best Drum Line

FOOD, LODGING AND TRAVEL
We have numerous restaurants and motels in Walterboro.  We will offer a full concession stand with food court and can feed bands in advance.  

Walterboro is located on I-95. We are 45 minutes from Charleston, 1 hour from Savannah and 90 minutes from Columbia.
