Rhode Island Coalition of Black Women, Inc. is a vibrant nonprofit organization working to ensure that Black women and girls in Rhode Island have the resources they need to thrive and strengthen their communities. 

Our mission is to cultivate, enrich, and empower Black women as advocates for the viability, equality, and equity of the Black community in the areas of employment, education, health, and economic development.

RICBW’s
Leadership Education And Development (LEAD) mentoring program fosters leadership capabilities among Black girls and young women in grades 6–12. Our trained mentors help adolescents become strong, successful women through a combination of academic, social, emotional, and cultural guidance.
