Special Event Fire Safety & EMS Registration

When an organization, sponsor, or renter is planning to conduct a special event on Ramapo College property, it is required to that they complete this form.  A Fire and EMS Risk Assessment will be conducted by the Fire Marshal/EMS Coordinator in consultation with the event sponsor. Fire Safety or EMS may be required to be on site for special events if the event meets certain criteria. Specific events that by special circumstance, such as the type of activity, special medical needs, or weather conditions, may require the need for on-site emergency responders or a permit issued by the New Jersey Division of Fire Safety (DFS).

Requests for EMS must be done (10) ten days prior to the scheduled event. In the event that ten days’ notice is not given, RCEMS will attempt to accommodate the request, but cannot guarantee availability. Cancellations must be made at least three days prior to the event.

Requesting a standby does NOT guarantee coverage. You will be notified by email once your event has been staffed.
