Museum of Royal Worcester: Volunteer Opportunities 2021

We reopened again safely on 20 May 2021 and we have opportunities for volunteers to support us with our visitor welcome and events programme, and new creative activities at the Museum and around Worcestershire:

1) Supporting our new 'paint-your-own-pottery' activity within our upstairs ceramic studio helping visitors get creative and paint ceramic shapes, that are glazed and fired by us for people to collect.

2) Our new Pop-up Museum - an outdoor gazebo through which we can engage people creatively with our collections through hands-on activities and food, drink, and sensory experiences in our Museum courtyard, at events and getting out into the local community.

3) Supporting our visitor welcome and programme of group visits and events, and/or helping Museum admin and marketing behind the scenes.

We provide support and training, tea and coffee, and we're a friendly passionate team to be part of. We can work with regular or occasional volunteering and a wide range of commitment from a few hours to whole days.
