OC Women Entrepreneurs Happy Hour (VHH) is a  virtual program of weekly conversations that includes Spotlight Breakouts (administered via Zoom Rooms). If you are an active NAWBO-OC member and you'd like to host a Spotlight Breakout conversation, please fill out the form below.

What is a Spotlight Breakout conversation?

A Spotlight Breakout conversation is a facilitated conversation around a topic of the host's choosing. It includes a 5-minute Spotlight presentation by the host in which she delivers actionable educational content while showcasing her business. Then, the Spotlight host will invite attendees to ask questions and share ideas related to her chosen topic. For example, a marketing consultant might present a 5-minute overview of tips on utilizing a Facebook Group as a client generation tool and then open the floor for sharing on the topic. A NAWBO-OC leader will be in the room to support the Spotlight host in facilitating the conversation as needed.

How to Prepare to Host a Spotlight Breakout Conversation

- Choose a relevant topic
- Create a 5-minute presentation
- Put together a list of 5-10 questions related to your topic to shape open sharing
- (Optional) Write a 300-600 word post to be shared as follow-up via NAWBO-OC's website and social media
