2020 Lyon Certified Training Program
World Youth Alliance (WYA) France invites young people, active members and youth leaders to participate in an intensive Certified Training Program which will take place in Lyon from the 20th until the 22nd of February 2020.

WYA’s Certified Training Program (CTP) is the collection of texts that provide the philosophical underpinnings for the mission of WYA. It presents a summary of philosophical, historical, and modern day texts that focus on the dignity of the person and human rights. Those who complete the training are equipped to articulate and defend the principles of the dignity of the person within the public square. The program is free and is open to all members of the World Youth Alliance. It is a pre-requisite for participation in many of the programs of WYA (internships, specialised conferences, advocacy work). Conditions to apply are the followings:
- Be from 18-30 years old
- Have a good level of English
- Submit an Online Application Form
- Be a member of World Youth Alliance by signing the Charter

The World Youth Alliance is composed of young men and women from every part of the world. We believe that this inalienable right to life is the basis of a free and just society and we believe that society through law and culture has an obligation to protect the dignity of the person and thus protect the right to life. We affirm that the fundamental unit of human society is the family, where men and women learn to live in genuine freedom and solidarity, and where individuals are equipped to fulfil their social obligations. We believe that the political community at the local, national and international level is obliged to protect and nurture the family. We believe that the authentic development of society can occur only in a culture that fosters integral human development - characterized by physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional growth, in a climate of respect for the human person and the family.
