YCore is a social impact fellowship for young professionals. Impact your community, gain hands-on nonprofit experience, expand your network and build your impact toolbox--all outside of work.

We are launching a two new cohorts running from June - September in San Francisco & the Peninsula.

How it works:
- Nonprofit experience: build capacity for a local nonprofit in teams of five
- Workshops: gain exposure to the social sector while learning skills like design thinking and fundraising
- Community: join a community of like-minded changemakers and friends

Roles:
- Team member on any upcoming project (June - September)
- Find & lead your own project (June - Oct nonprofit scoping + Oct- Jan 2020 project work)

Commitment: Everyone in the program must be based in the Bay Area. We do not have any remote opportunities.
- 5-ish hours per week (5-8 hours per week for project leads)
- Bi-weekly workshops in San Francisco or the Peninsula (depending on the cohort you apply to!)
- Weekly or bi-weekly meetings with your project team
- Give or raise $1500 for YCore programming ($2000 for project leads). We train all Fellows in fundraising and we are uniquely funded by the demographic we serve.

Qualifications:
- Post-college (or equivalent experience) young professional
- Good organizational skills and prioritizer
- Passionate about social impact and the nonprofit space
- Work experience in a nonprofit or social business a plus, but not required
