Workshop Presenter Application: AHWG 2023 Providers Summit

Thank you for your interest in presenting at the Adolescent Health Working Group (AHWG) 2023 Providers Summit. The conference will take place on Zoom on Wednesday, May 24, from 11am PST to 4pm PST.

This year's theme is Sexual and Reproductive Health: A Modern Love Story. Please review our website for recommendations on what constitutes a strong workshop proposal.

AHWG is seeking workshop proposals with a 75-minute duration that offers a combination of an informative lecture with dynamic group interaction. Workshop facilitator(s) should highlight how their proposal will engage virtual learners from various professional backgrounds including: primary healthcare, social welfare, education, behavioral health, nonprofit, and others. At the end of each workshop, AHWG will offer participants an online evaluation form. Results can be shared with workshop facilitators if requested.

Applicants may submit more than one workshop proposal. However, they should note whether their workshop allows for simultaneous instruction or whether a facilitator is only available for one of the multiple submissions.

Youth are encouraged to submit a workshop proposal but should submit an application presenting how their unique experiences will benefit an audience of professional providers. Agencies and organizations may choose to engage or partner with their youth clients to submit a proposal. Note that this conference is not open to minors and will not have youth attendees. The primary audience will be youth-serving providers.

Proposals must be submitted by 11:59pm PST Friday, March 17. All applicants will be notified the week of March 27.
