Join us for a field trip entitled
Restoring, Opening, and Managing the summit of Mt Umunhum hosted by Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District. We'll learn about Midpen’s engagement with the community and stakeholders including close collaboration with the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band on the sacred uses of the summit. We'll also brainstorm together about some long-term management challenges that Midpen faces, and challenges that you might be facing, too. Join us to explore the summit, hear from Midpen staff, ask questions and discuss challenges and ideas, and have lunch with colleagues from around the region.
This field trip is only for staff and board of TOGETHER Bay Area members. This is a great field trip if you’re working on: restoring heavily impacted natural resources, opening new natural places to the public, and cultural easements or historic resources. - October 21, 2022 from 11am-2pm
