WELS Congregational Services’ Merge for Mission program (M4M) helps congregations in relatively close geographic proximity consider if some sort of merger might enable them to accomplish more mission work for Jesus Christ. M4M has three phases.
* Phase One: Exploration –The congregations review the mission of the Church and discuss possible pros and cons of merging. Members learn about different types of mergers. The members of the individual congregations decide if they want to proceed to Phase 2.
