Merge for Mission - Phase One: Exploration

WELS Congregational Services’ Merge for Mission program (M4M) helps congregations in relatively close geographic proximity consider if some sort of merger might enable them to accomplish more mission work for Jesus Christ. M4M has three phases.

Phase One: Exploration –The congregations review the mission of the Church and discuss possible pros and cons of merging. Members learn about different types of mergers. The members of the individual congregations decide if they want to proceed to Phase 2.

Part VIIFor Christ’s Glory
We are placing the final two questions of the homework first. While all the questions are helpful, the question of if we should proceed to phase 2 is essential to the next steps of this process.

The next question (should we proceed to Phase 2), your name, your email, and your congregation are the only required questions. You could submit after answering those. You are welcome to continue and share more thoughts.
