If you're interested in training with us, please fill in the form below.  Whilst we try to get interested people training as quickly as possible, we do have high numbers interested and only so many instructors.  We're trialling a new method of beginners intake from October, with a weekly Foundation Class covering some of the basics and fundamental techniques and movement patterns.  Becoming capable and familiar with these will then allow access to our regular weekly classes on Mondays and Wednesdays.  We may also trial other approaches throughout the year.  if you sign up to the mailing list we'll be in touch with more detail on these and how to join as and when we have space to feed more people through into the Foundation Class.

[Please note - at the moment we're experiencing an exceptionally high level of both demand and attendance, so we're having to put a pause on new intake at the moment.  In the meantime please do sign up to the mailing list, and we'll get in touch as soon as we have space!]

We'd really recommend this if you haven't already, it's worth it to get an accurate idea of what we do teach/train (HEMA) and what we don't teach/train (armoured bohurt/Battle of the Nations style combat).

By subscribing to the mailing list we'll also add you as a nominal member of Historical Fencing NI (HFNI) - this doesn't include any direct training or insurance, but we will be consulting with the nominal membership on areas such as future expansion of clubs & classes where possible, locations and venues for future grassroots level workshops, and nominal members will be able to raise questions/thoughts on these issues through our nominated grassroots representative. This means even though you're only on the mailing list at the moment, you still have a chance to help and steer the growth of HEMA in NI.
