ColorBox: 

The Color Box Production Company’s name reflects a promise to search for truth and clarity. We thrive to create an inclusive performance space for UCLA students, no matter their race, gender or sexuality. Our mission is to enhance, stimulate, and celebrate understanding of one’s self and others through the shared experience of live performance, routed in the affluent melting pot of diverse ethnic classics. The production company will also branch out to include bold and innovative interpretations of world drama and film, marked by the reflection and inclusion of the community and world we live in.

Everyone's Talking About Jamie: 
Everybody's Talking About Jamie tells the tale of Jamie New: sixteen, not quite fitting in on a council estate in Sheffield - but with big aspirations. Supported by his brilliant loving mum and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies, and steps out of the darkness into the spotlight to become a sensation, in a fearless, funny, fabulous musical.

Performance Dates:

Tech week: Feb. 19 - Feb. 22, 2024

Performances: Feb. 23, 2024 @ 7pm, Feb. 24, 2024 @ 1pm and 7pm

Time Commitment:

The exact time commitment of hours per week will be set by the music director, but expect 8-12 hours or less for a regular rehearsal week, and 12 - 18 hours for tech week.
