IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to scheduling needs at our in-person space, for the months of March, April, & May 2024, the in-person group will be held on the 2ND THURSDAY instead of 3rd. The new dates for those months are March 14, April 11, and May 9. In June, we plan to return to 3rd Thursdays.
The group was started in order to address society's inherently oppressive systems that often do not prioritize the needs and lives of parents of color. AAPI mothers deserve our own space to find solidarity and healing with one another. Meetings are designed as a peer support group that normalizes and destigmatizes emotional challenges in motherhood and builds a supportive network among AAPI mothers. We welcome early-stage mothers (i.e. with children 5 and younger, approximately) of all genders who identify as Asian American/AAPI. For our virtual groups, we welcome AAPI/Asian American mothers located ANYWHERE!
