As some of you know, the 1000 BB4K program is a no-pressure, goal-oriented reading program currently running at the Shelburne Public Library.

This survey to get in touch with families in our community, and see how many of you are still actively participating!

For the 1000BB4K, each child is given a workbook to record every book they read with an adult (and eventually on their own!). If a parent and child read a book more than once, make sure to record it more than once as well! These can be audiobooks, board books, chapter books, or even books we read during Sleepy Story Time and Friday morning Story Time!

Every time you and your child hits a 100 book milestone, we will give you an “I read 100 (200, 300, etc) books!” ribbon. When the goal of 250, 500, 750, & 1000 books is met, your child will get to choose a book to keep from our treasure box.

Once your entire booklet is full, and you have read 1000 books, your child will receive a certificate, a bag full of goodies, and then we would love a picture of them with their certificate to post on our Wall of Fame.
