PET/CT and PET/MR Quality Control Survey
Dear colleagues,
Most literature on routine quality control (QC) in PET/CT scanners is out-of-date or no longer relevant, especially in the light of new PET/CT systems. The scenario for PET/MRI QC is even worse, because of the lack of dedicated QC recommendations for these hybrid scanners. Thus, there is an increasing need for guidelines that identify a set of routine QC tests to perform on the latest generation of PET/CT and PET/MRI scanners.
From the recently created EFOMP “PET/CT AND PET/MR QC Protocol” working group, we would like to ask you to take 5 minutes to answer a series of questions relating to QC performed at your own institution. The present survey is designed to help to identify the different practices, opinions and relevance of the quality control tests, as well as the availability of different phantoms.
