Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer teacher as a part of the Dutch Language Collaboration!

The Dutch Language Collaboration is an enthusiastic group of Dutch students who have a passion for teaching the Dutch language to international students.

In the spring semester 2021/22, the teachers will give thirteen classes about several topics that are convenient in Dutch daily life. Classes run once a week on Wednesday evening from 23th of February until the 1st of June. Next to teaching, the teachers are in charge of updating the course material. Throughout the course, international students have an opportunity to familiarize themselves with useful phrases and quirks of the Dutch language directly from Dutch students; a perfect way to get to know the language in an informal setting. The course is provided by ESN Utrecht in collaboration with Career Services of Utrecht University.

The Dutch Language Collaboration consists of a team of around 12 teachers and is coordinated by the Integration Coordinator. As a teacher you make use of the available material to prepare your classes that you are giving together with another student. After the course you update the course material together.
