Application for Certification as an Eviction Mediator

Mediators shall be eligible for appointment by filing this application with the Arbitration Administrator certifying that they have either (1) a minimum of forty (40) hours mediation training skills program, plus an additional four (4) hour eviction mediation training which shall be approved by the 18th Judicial Circuit Court or (2) they shall successfully complete an eight (8) hour eviction mediation training which shall be approved by the Court. Additionally, eviction mediators shall possess either: (i) a Juris Doctor degree with demonstrated experience; or (ii) a background in mediation with experience acceptable to the Court.
