Symposium Proposals - ASSC 27
The Program Committee invites proposals for symposia on any topic relevant to the scientific study of consciousness. There are typically four symposia in each ASSC conference, usually lasting about two hours with four speakers each. Symposia/talks should be spread over topics in the scientific study of consciousness, paying close attention to areas that may have been overlooked in previous years. ASSC has a strong preference for symposium proposals to focus on specific questions rather than a set of loosely related talks. Proposals that integrate multiple methodologies around common questions are particularly welcome. The Program Committee gives significant weight to intellectual inclusiveness: all else being equal, the committee will favor symposia that bring together speakers from multiple disciplines and that include both experimental and theoretical perspectives. The committee also gives significant weight to demographic inclusiveness.  All symposium speakers will be provided with free conference registration.
