Parent Educator, Bonnie Davis can speak to a plethora of topics relevant to parents with babies under 12 months. Please select up to 5 (Five) topics to help us narrow down our scope. Thanks! (We are planning to do several workshops on Zoom in the coming months).

Please choose up to 5 topics only!

1. Tummy time: come learn tummy time solutions, learn the importance of tummy time and how it relates to their ongoing development. Leave with some helpful exercises to support your baby’s development.

2. Vision: vision is complex with babies. Learn how it develops and what you can do to support their vision as they grow and develop.

3. Language: How to support continued language development through the serve and return nature of the brain. Learn some tips on how you can engage your baby through language.

4. Sensory play: babies are sensory beings, they thrive on experiencing the world through their senses. Come learn about all the sensory systems and ways you can support and stimulate them.

5. Bonding and attachment: Come learn about the complex process of bonding, and practical ways you can support the connection between you and your baby

6. Self-care in this class we talk about the importance of self-care. How it often falls by the wayside when you have a baby. We speak about why it’s important for the health of your whole family. Come receive tips on small things you can do each day to take care of yourself and leave with a renewed commitment to yourself

7. Baby Temperaments: You will also learn about the 3 temperaments of babies, and you will explore which one your baby might be, and knowing that, how you can best support them through that lens.

8. The Importance of Play: In this class you will learn how play supports baby’s development and what kind of toys really encourage imagination and creativity

9. Social Emotional Intelligence: Babies learn who they are by how we treat them, it's an outside in experience. Come learn ways you can support them in learning about feelings

10. The Biology of Sleep: what is normal infant sleep? what is developmentally appropriate? What is the effect of using different methods to try and get your baby to sleep. Learn ways to support healthy sleep habits.

11. Communication: developing healthy forms of communication with baby early on is important. Learn how scaffolding helps build language skills as well as baby signing. Learn 10 basic baby signs to help your baby start communicating with you now!

12. Baby Led Weaning: Baby-led weaning allows babies to be in control of their food consumption by "self-feeding" from the start of their experience with food. Come learn healthy ways to begin this process of feeding your child that can lay the foundation for healthy eating habits as they grow.

13. The dance of separation: why separation is hard for babies/toddlers, and how to help them with it.
