Incoming Student Supply Kit
First year students are required to have several supply items for Clinical Skills, Surgical Skills, and Anatomy laboratories. Students may purchase these items independently or through LSU Vet Med. If you purchase these items independently, all supplies must be approved by the teaching staff before use.

LSU Vet Med can purchase pre-approved items in bulk and with guaranteed quality for your convenience. If you would like to purchase your first-year supply kit from LSU Vet Med, we ask that you submit this google form by Wednesday, June 14th, 12:00 pm central time. We will purchase the kits for those who sign up by this date.

The estimated cost for a supply kit is approximately $300 per student, though prices are subject to change. You will be able to pay online, and the kits will be ready to pick up during the fall semester. Payment will most likely be due in August.

Surgery Gown Size
Tips for measuring:
-   Your gown size will not be the same as your normal clothing size. It is common to wear a M or L gown when you are wear a size S clothing normally.
-   To ensure the correct fit, have someone else measure you if possible
-   Focus on sleeve length - with your arms straight out to the side, measure from your neck to the tips of your fingers. Aim for an inch past your fingertips to ensure a good fit.
-   Go up a size if you are unsure of the correct fit.
-   If you have a large chest/bust, make sure that you select a size that will fit comfortably across your chest for 5+ hours.
