We are hiring!! JBF Milwaukee employee positions are NOW open for our Spring April 10-15, 2024.

We are looking for people who:
* Have experience helping customers in a retail environment
* Enjoy interacting with the public and assisting others
* Love helping local families take great care of their kids and their budgets!
* Are willing to working 4+ hours for the week. 
* Interested in temporary / seasonal employment
* 16 years of age or older
* Bring along one shopping BFF to the Presales

We strive to provide our internal and external customers with an enjoyable experience where shopping is fun and selling is easy. We are looking for like-minded people to join us as a Retail Sales Specialist.
JBF Staff serve in many roles during the sale. These include welcoming customers at the entrance, managing the hold area, matching lost tags with items, assisting customers on the sales floor, keeping our sales floor neat and 'shoppable' and thanking customers at the exit. Other duties include,  helping set up the sales floor, pulling donated items, sort unsold items, and breaking down the sales floor at the end of the week.

Candidates would need to:
* Be on your feet / walk for a majority of your shift
* Bend over / lift up to 25 lbs (depending on the duty for the shift)
* Effectively organize the alphabet A-Z for inspection, sort, & breakdown

Our hiring timeline is as follows:
February 28th-March 20th ~ applications are available
March 25th ~ candidates will be notified and employment decisions emailed
April 1st ~  employee schedules confirmed
April 6th ~ all hiring paperwork completed

• RSS do not receive an additional percentage on their sold items. 
• RSS do not have to consign in order to fill this position.
• RSS will receive a pass for the regular Presale and the 50% Presale
• All RSS employees must work a minimum of 4 hours the week of the sale(s).  Preference will be given to applicants who can work 10+ hours during the week of the sale(s).
