Interest form - Youth Panels at May 7 Spring Gathering
Our MBLC Spring Gathering in Ellensburg, WA on Thursday, May 7 will feature a panel of approximately 10-12 MBLC youth advisors, representing the larger MBLC youth advisor group.

Please note this is an interest form, not a registration form. 

Dear MBLC adult allies:

Please read all the info at the top of the form, then respond BY TUESDAY, MARCH 19 to express interest in bringing 2 youth advisors for the panel. Thanks.

We will use an equitable process to invite representative panelists from the larger group of MBLC youth advisors, balanced by geographic region. Our first step is learning how many current youth advisors are interested and able to serve as panelists on May 7. 

 In this form, you can let us know your school's interest and ability to bring 2 youth advisor panelists. We will get back to you as quickly as possible with updates—with a goal of confirming panelists in early April.

Please note:  
  • Youth advisors must participate in a prep session before serving on the panel. We will hold a panel prep session on Zoom Thursday, May 2, 2024 | noon - 1:30 pm. If that time is not convenient, we will work with invited panelists to do an online prep with you at a time of mutual convenience
  • We will ask invited panelists to serve in pairs if possible, with a goal that no panelist is the only youth advisor representing their school.
  • We highly value student voice and input. There will be meaningful ways for youth who are not panelists to share their words and ideas with educators and school leaders in the MBLC community.
