ASAP, through funding from the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina, is providing mini-grants (up to $200 per market) for farmers markets to develop and conduct wellness engagement activities to promote their markets, bring in new customers, build connections with community partners, and offer positive experiences with fresh local food. We encourage markets to be creative in designing engagement activities around these goals, but also offer these examples to spur ideas:
