Also different this year....the Dale Street Variety Show will take place at the
MEDFIELD HIGH SCHOOL AUDITORIUM on Tuesday, February 13th! Mark your calendars!

Monday, January 22nd — Show and Tell, 4:00pm - 6:00pm (At Dale Street School)
Monday, February 5th — *Mandatory Rehearsal* 4:00pm - 6:00pm (At Medfield High School Auditorium)
Tuesday, February 13th — Performance at 6pm (At Medfield High School Auditorium)

IMPORTANT: We will only have ONE (1) regular rehearsal which will be a full run-through of the show. Make sure to practice and polish your routine/number/act OUTSIDE of rehearsal*
BE CREATIVE!! Ideas might include skits, stand-up comedy, recorder, dance, singing, music, piano, recitations, bands, magic shows....!
*Does your student have a talent for making movies? Or do they have a talent that they can't translate into a stage performance (i.e. mountain biking, cooking, etc)? Students can submit a video and it will be shown up on the big screen during the show!*
A few rules:
1. All acts MUST be 90 seconds or less - NO EXCEPTIONS. Maximum of 10 people to one group.
2. ABSOLUTELY NO LIP SYNCING. Only musical accompaniment or karaoke instrumentals for singing acts.
3. All acts must be presented at the “show-and-tell”. Show-and-tell date is above.
4. All acts must be age appropriate (parents, please use common sense and observe acts and song lyrics prior to the show-and-tell)
5. If your child participates, a parent is REQUIRED to help out and volunteer. It’s rewarding and fun! Please sign up on the SignUpGenius below.
6. Participants can only be in one act.
7. If you have large or complex props, please let us know this at the show-and-tell.
8. At the show-and-tell - please give us a sense of your lighting / sound / props needs.
9. The one rehearsal will be a full show rehearsal. You may not be required to be there the whole time, but please block off the entire two hours for planning purposes.
