Main goal is participation in Youth Skyrunning World Championships in Montenegro, Bar, 27 - 31 June 2024.
The Norwegian youth team will have following selection:
Agegroup A: 2009 + 2008
3 women + 3 men
Agegroup B: 2007 + 2006
3 Women + 3 men
Agegroup C: 2005 + 2004 and Agegroup U23 (2003, 2002, 2001):
2 women + 2 men
Athletes with medal from 2023 World Championships is pre-selected for 2024:
Ingeborg Synstnes Hole and Aron Haugen Rodal. Both in agegroup Youth B. Ida Waldal selected in Youth C.
Selection is based on Selection race; Bergen Skyrace April 28th 2024 at 8.00 CET
and individual VK performance times
All selected athletes will have to participate in the two diciplines VK and Skyrace.
The Norwegian team goals is 6 individual medals, and top 3 team rank performance.
