MMIWG2S+ Alaska: Third-Annual Run For Healing, Run For Justice
We invite you to participate and honor our Alaska MMIWG2S+ (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Womxn and Girls/Two Spirit) through healthy healing. The MMIWG2S+ Alaska Run for Healing, Run for Justice is a hybrid virtual/in-person 5K run, walk, or other physical activity dedicated to honoring missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and relatives.

This is a free event open to all and you can participate at any location! For people in the Anchorage area, there will be an in-person participation on September 24th at 1 PM at Lake Tiulana, outside the Alaska Native Heritage Center. We encourage people to participate with others in their own communities as well.

The event is meant to raise awareness and provide a healthy healing activity for our community to join. While this is not a race or competition, you can share your participation into the FB event and registered participants will be entered into a drawing for a swag bag!

Once registered, you’ll receive your registration packet through email when the week of the event starts.
