Take This is compiling a list of US-based, licensed mental health providers who work with geeks and gamers in a nuanced, affirming manner that recognizes the complexities of geek and gamer cultures. This includes, but is not limited to, topics such as streaming, online content creation, issues of fandom, and the phenomenological differences between different games.

If you are a licensed, US-based mental health provider, you regularly work with geeks and gamers in a way that is cognizant of geek and gamer culture, and you would like to be listed on TakeThis.org's website, please fill out this form. Inclusion is optional, and if you ever wish to be removed, email info@takethis.org and asked to be removed.

While we will strive to include all those who provide mental health treatment services, this provider listing is limited to licensure types which meet all of the following criteria:
    1. Successful completion of standardized training and education at a regionally accredited institution.
    2. Successful passing of a standardized licensing exam or exams.
    3. Ongoing, continuing education requirements.

NOTE REGARDING CRITERION 2: Those practicing under supervision as associate-level licensure (e.g. postdoctoral practitioners) may also be considered and will be indicated as such in our listings. They still must provide a valid, associate or provisional license number.
