This training is aimed at 1st year students (going on to 2nd year) who are interested in learning how best to communicate, provide support and guide others for help. Upon completion students will be given a certificate which can enhance their CV.

Training will be held on Tuesday 14th May 2024 - from 09.00am till 13.30pm (students will be exempt during this time)

There is also the opportunity to put what you have learnt into practice at the beginning of your 2nd year by:

1) Peer mentoring (contacting and following a small number of first-year students to advise them and offer support in the first weeks)

2) Helping out with Freshers' Week activities (like tours and setting up of stands)

3) Promoting activities and enrichment programmes

Your application will be processed by the Peer Mentoring and Training Committee. 

Applications will be accepted till Friday 10th May 2024.
