The Business Plan Development Series is an 8 week course designed to help resilience hubs and communities implement initiatives that foster a more resilient economy. The series launches the week of April 12, 2021. There is no fee to participate!
Series flow:
- MONDAYs: you'll receive digital packet that sets the focus and intention for the week, including resources, prompts and examples to inspire you to "try it."
- THURSDAYs: Zoom coffee hour (8-9AM) to go through material, answer questions, and group share.

- Week 2: Business Model & Company Description
- Week 3: Market Analysis & Opportunity; Asset-Based Community Development
- Week 4: Competitive Analysis; Finding Your Edge
- Week 5: Structure, Operations & Team
- Week 6: Costs & Leveraging Financial Capital
- Week 7: Branding, Marketing & Hustle
- Week 8: Short- & Long-Term Goals; Framework for Action
At the end of this series, participants will have developed a comprehensive business plan. The goal of this project is to build local capacity, encourage entrepreneurship, and have the people/systems infrastructure in place to receive monies geared towards helping community bounce forward.
