Racial Equity Summit IV: December 4-8, 2021

Please complete the proposal fields below for the FWISD Racial Equity Summit IV (RES) by Sunday, October 31st at 11:59 pm. Proposals will be reviewed for selection by committee, and we encourage student participation with adult co-facilitation. Selected presenters will be notified by no later than November 8, 2021. The Racial Equity Summit is scheduled for Saturday, December 4, 2021 (in-person) and Monday through Wednesday, December 6-8, 2021 (virtual).

The overarching goal of the Racial Equity Summit is to advance racial equity in Fort Worth, Texas by raising awareness, stimulating courageous conversations, and forging actionable practices with students, parents, teachers, administrators, higher education, and community.

Breakout sessions will be 60 minutes in length, and should include time for Q and A. (As a presenter, you may determine how you will set up your session: i.e. panel discussion, show and tell, group discussion, traditional presentation style)

Sessions selected will be scheduled at 12:00p or 6:00p on Monday or Tuesday. You will be notified of your session time and date in advance. (Please do not submit a proposal if you are unavailable to present at the above presented times.)
