Many early career scientists have shown interest in finding broader impacts of their work, as they desire to contribute beyond their scientific communities. While excited to engage in science policy, most early career scientists are not sure how to start.

With our Virtual Science Day at the Capitol, we are providing early career scientists with an introduction to science policy advocacy through their local lawmakers. We also provide our Arizona Congressional Representatives the opportunity to ask honest questions and learn about how advances in science affect their constituents directly.
