We're a professional Christmas decorating service based in Newcastle upon Tyne but working across North East England, the Lake District, Scotland, Yorkshire, the Midlands and in central London.
We pride ourselves on producing luxury Christmas decorations from some of the best suppliers around the World, creating the finished pieces in our Festive workshop in Newcastle.
We need help with preparing these decorations, whilst always looking for people to join our on-the-road Installation Team too, so if you live near any of the locations mentioned above please feel free to complete this form and we'll see what work we can offer you.
As our name suggests, the Team-feel is really important to us - we have a great bunch of Freelancing people who return for multiple seasons so if you're interested in seasonal work between October and January each year then we'd love to hear from you.
THE WORK
There are many different tasks we undertake - some require a head for heights, others can be done from the comfort of your own home and many are in-between...
Examples of things we need help with:
- Putting wire on baubles (10,000+ last season, likely to be 20,000+ this year!)
- Decorating garlands, wreaths and Christmas trees in our own luxury way (Newcastle-based workshop team)
- Installing the finished decorations (many locations across Scotland, Northern England and locations along the M1/A1 South to London).
HOW MUCH WORK IS AVAILABLE?
These roles are completely flexible so you can choose when you work (and we work all hours of the day and night during our busiest time of year!)
We have
shifts available from 11th October to 25th November 2023 to help cover our peak season work.

- We will invite people to visit our workshop to meet some of the team and see what the work involves.
- We run training sessions on the Basics of Christmas Decorating at the workshop for successful applicants (paid at £12 per hour, our terms are 30 days net on receipt of an invoice).
- You will receive a request for your availability for the work we have availability and from those who are available, we will build teams for each task based on the skills/experience needed and will confirm shifts with those who are offered the work.
No experience is necessary and all training will be provided; some in group sessions, sometimes individual on-the-job training for the roles you may become involved in. We can also support people to understand their tax responsibilities when starting out in freelance work, including providing a template invoice document you are welcome to use if needed.
