Paula Niño Kehr: Hello! I’m Paula Kehr, mom of Emilia, a soon-to-be fourth grader at Wharton. We’ve been at Wharton since 2017 and I’ve been actively involved in the PTO since then, helping primarily with the Fall Festival and communications. I’m originally from Colombia and feel grateful that my daughter has the opportunity to learn in Wharton’s dual language program. My professional background is in communications and journalism. Currently, I work at the University of Houston and as a freelance writer.======¡Hola! Soy Paula Kehr, madre de Emilia, quien pronto será una alumna de cuarto grado en Wharton. Hemos estado en Wharton desde el 2017 y he participado activamente en el PTO desde entonces, ayudando principalmente con el Festival de Otoño y las comunicaciones. Soy originaria de Colombia y me siento agradecida de que mi hija tenga la oportunidad de aprender en el programa bilingüe de Wharton. Mi formación profesional es en comunicación y periodismo. Natalia Sternau: ¡Hola! I am Natalia Sternau, mom of Christopher who is going into Kindergarden. I’m originally from Mexico City and moved to Houston in 3rd grade. I was very nervous for Christopher to start Pre-K, but he has thrived at Wharton Dual Language Academy. It’s a joy to see him excited to go to school everyday. I have loved serving on the PTO board and volunteering as room parent. I’m so proud to support a school who is bilingual and celebrates diversity.I have a BBA from Baylor University and law degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston. My husband, Chris, is a CPA and consultant for the Wharton PTO. We feel so lucky to be a part of such an amazing school and look forward to many more years as part of the Wharton family!======¡Hola! Soy Natalia Sternau, mamá de Christopher que va para Kinder. Soy originaria de la Ciudad de México y me mudé a Houston en 3er grado. Estaba muy nerviosa de que Christopher comenzara Pre-K, pero ha prosperado en Wharton Dual Language Academy. Es un placer verlo emocionado de ir a la escuela todos los días. Me ha encantado servir en la junta del PTO y ser voluntario como padre de aula. Estoy muy orgullosa de apoyar a una escuela que es bilingüe y celebra la diversidad. Tengo una licenciatura en derecho de la Universidad de Baylor y un título en derecho de la Facultad de Derecho de South Texas en Houston. Katie Morgan: Katie lives close to Wharton with her husband Tom and first grade son Lucky.  Originally from Boston, Katie has lived in Houston for 11 years.  She works at Chevron in Business Development and Commercial and has for 14 years.  For fun, Katie enjoys acting in community theater and has been a non-profit board member and president with local theater and dance.======Katie vive cerca de Wharton con su esposo Tom y su hijo de primer grado, Lucky. Originaria de Boston, Katie ha vivido en Houston durante 11 años. Trabaja en Chevron en Desarrollo de Negocios y Comercial y lo ha hecho durante 14 años. Katy Goodman: I have two children at Wharton, Eddie in kindergarten and Alan in third grade. My background is in non-profit management and fundraising, mostly with education and arts organizations. I am interested in serving on the PTO because our public schools need support and strong advocates for equity and resources now more than ever.  ======Tengo dos hijos en Wharton, Eddie en kinder y Alan en tercer grado. Mi experiencia es en la gestión de organizaciones sin fines de lucro y la recaudación de fondos, principalmente con organizaciones educativas y artísticas. Estoy interesada en servir en el PTO porque nuestras escuelas públicas necesitan apoyo y firmes defensores de la equidad y los recursos ahora más que nunca.

Eric D'Olive: Wharton is such a wonderful opportunity for children to learn more than reading, writing, and math. The PTO is a big part of supporting those opportunities, and I look forward to being able to contribute. My wife, Kami, and I have two daughters at Wharton, Jackie and Elise, and a future Eagle, Louis, once he is old enough. I am learning Spanish with Jackie and Elise, though admittedly, not nearly as fast as they are. ======Wharton es una oportunidad maravillosa para que los niños aprendan más que lectura, escritura y matemáticas. El PTO es una gran parte del apoyo a esas oportunidades y espero poder contribuir. Mi esposa, Kami, y yo tenemos dos hijas en Wharton, Jackie y Elise, y un futuro Águila, Louis, una vez que tenga la edad suficiente. Estoy aprendiendo español con Jackie y Elise, aunque no tan rápido como ellas.

Joshua Rosales: I am a new parent at Wharton for next year and will have a 1st grade child and, hopefully, Pre-K attend. I was PTO president at my kids' previous dual language school and strongly support the mission of the PTO. I have worked in the corporate law sector for over 12 years with client management, business development, marketing and communications. I am from Lake Jackson, live in the south area of Houston and have Guatemalan heritage. I speak English, Spanish and Portuguese fluently and travel abroad frequently. Thank you. ======Soy un nuevo padre en Wharton para el próximo año y tendré un hijo de primer grado y, con suerte, uno en PreK. Anteriormente fui presidente de la PTO en la escuela bilingüe anterior de mis hijos y apoyo firmemente la misión de la PTO. Trabajo en el sector del derecho corporativo desde hace más de 12 años con gestión de clientes, desarrollo empresarial, marketing y comunicaciones. Frank Ramirez: Hello my name is Frank M. Ramirez. My wife Claudia and I have been married for over 16 years and all 3 of our children have attended Wharton (2 still currently attending).  My daughter Isabela is currently at Hogg MS and will be attending Heights HS in the fall. My daughter Analisa is currently in Ms. Acevedo's 5th grade class and will be attending Hamilton MS next fall, and my son Case is currently in Ms. Perez's 3rd grade class and will be here a few more years. I currently have my own business as a Realtor® with Keller Williams Metropolitan. I previously spent 20 plus years in managing various financial operations for Bank One, JPMorgan Chase and Aramark at NRG Park. I am also on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals - Houston Chapter, Board Member for U of H Omega Delta Phi Fraternity Alumni Advisory Board, Former Vice Chairman and current member of Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Go Tejano Committee and the Assistant Athletic Director for the Magnolia Park Sharks Youth Football, Cheer and Drill. I have always volunteered at Wharton since my oldest was in Ms. Katy's kindergarten class. After about 2 years in I started to assist more with the Fall Festival and other events. I later became part of the committee and a Co-Chair for the Fall Festival Committee . I have always had a passion to give back and volunteer. I also invite my U of H guys to come to Wharton and volunteer at events like the fall festival and the Gala. As we move forward from the pandemic I look to get back involved, continue to volunteer and become part of the PTO Leadership. Kindra LeFevre: I have two children at Wharton—Levi and Alexia, who will be in 3rd and 1st grades in the 2021-2022 school year. I’ve been involved in the PTO since my oldest was in Kindergarten and enjoy volunteering at school events, fostering community among Wharton families and fundraising to ensure important programs like IB continue. My professional background is in journalism and corporate communications. I have bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and German from the University of Missouri and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston. Currently, I’m a small business owner alongside my husband.======Tengo dos hijos en Wharton: Levi y Alexia, que cursarán 3er y 1er grado en el año escolar 2021-2022. He estado involucrada en el PTO desde que mi hijo mayor estaba en Kinder y disfruto de ser voluntaria en los eventos escolares, fomentando la comunidad entre las familias de Wharton y recaudando fondos para asegurar que programas importantes como el IB continúen. Brook Blanco: Hello! I am Brook Blanco, mother of Kylie and Hanah Blanco. We have been part of the Wharton Family since Kylie started kindergarten in 2016. My husband, Mike Blanco has volunteered for school, classroom, and PTO projects over these past few years as well. I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and currently work in advertising and marketing at Univision Communications.======Soy Brook Blanco, madre de Kylie y Hanah Blanco. Hemos sido parte de la familia Wharton desde que Kylie comenzó el jardín de infantes en 2016. Shena Cox: A native of New Orleans, Shena has been a resident of Houston since 2012 and is proud to call the city home. She is a loving wife to Kevin and mother of two girls. Her daughters are Kay who is currently a kindergarten student at Wharton and Klair who is an energetic 1 year old. She attended LSU for her undergraduate studies and is a big LSU tiger’s Sports fan.  Shena enjoys reading, spending time with family , and golf. Shena has served as our Member at Large this past year and has previously served as Room Parent.“I'm looking forward to another great year!” ======Shena Cox de Nueva Orleans, ha sido residente de Houston desde 2012 y se enorgullece de llamar hogar a la ciudad. Ricardo Barcelo: I’m originally from Mexico City and came to Houston in 2004 to join my wife, who had taken a position at an international bank. For the last eight years, I have been in the business of protecting people from the unexpected running my own Allstate Insurance agency in Houston. The most exciting phase of my life started six years ago when I became a father. Bruno, my first child, is now almost seven, and Rebecca, my second child, will be four soon; I can hardly believe it! Making a positive impact on society while benefiting my children is a no brainer, and that is why I like being involved in the PTO. -->>Soy originario de la Ciudad de México y vine a Houston en 2004 para reunirme con mi esposa, quien había tomado un puesto en un banco internacional. Durante los últimos ocho años, he estado en el negocio de proteger a las personas de lo inesperado que dirige mi propia agencia de seguros Allstate en Houston. La fase más emocionante de mi vida comenzó hace seis años cuando me convertí en padre. Bruno, mi primer hijo, ahora tiene casi siete años, y Rebecca, mi segundo hija, pronto tendrá cuatro años; ¡Casi no puedo creerlo! Holly Navarro: Hola! My name is Holly Navarro. I'm a mother of two boys, Jacob going into 4th grade and Andrew going into 2nd grade. I am a native Houstonian who loves taking in the arts and culture our beautiful city has to offer. In the 20-21 school year I was the fundraising lead, bringing you the Wharton Yard signs, the Fall Family Photo Sessions as well as the Little Caesars pizza kits. When I am not working and taking care of the family I enjoy reading, food & wine and travel.======¡Hola! Mi nombre es Holly Navarro. Soy madre de dos niños, Jacob va a cuarto grado y Andrew va a segundo grado. Soy originaria de Houston y me encanta conocer las artes y la cultura que nuestra hermosa ciudad tiene para ofrecer. En el año escolar 20-21 fui el líder de recaudación de fondos, y les traje los letreros de Wharton Yard, las sesiones fotográficas familiares de otoño y los kits de pizza de Little Caesars. Melanie Rodriguez: Melanie Rodriguez is a Talent Management Advisor at Chevron Corporation and the founder and lead coach at Elevate Latinas Leadership Coaching.  Melanie and her wife Cindy are proud parents to two Wharton Eagles, Arianna (4th Grade) and Isaias (2nd Grade).  Melanie has served the Wharton PTO for several years as an At-Large Member, Secretary, President Elect, President, and Past President.  She is also active on the Wharton SDMC and serves as a representative on the HISD District Advisory Committee, the HISD Calendar Committee, and the Gifted and Talented Education Supporters (GATES) team. ======Melanie Rodríguez es asesora de gestión de talentos en Chevron Corporation y fundadora y entrenadora principal de Elevate Latinas Leadership Coaching. Melanie y su esposa Cindy son padres orgullosos de dos Wharton Eagles, Arianna (cuarto grado) e Isaias (segundo grado).
