JSD Families!  Thank you for providing feedback in our recent food service survey.  Information gathered helped us to determine breakfast and lunch items that will be served this school year.  We are excited to announce that we will be offering two breakfast choices.  Students may choose a hot breakfast or a grab and go breakfast.  Hot breakfast choices will include, breakfast burritos, French Toast sticks, breakfast sandwiches, cinnamon rolls and omelets.  The grab and go will be similar to last year...cereal, yogurt, breakfast bread, juice, etc.  In order to plan accordingly, we need for families to decide if their child will be eating hot breakfast for the school year OR you would like your child to take a grab and go breakfast each day.  It is not required that you take either of these, we just need to get an accurate count for those families wanting breakfast for their children.  Students may only pick one, so if you are interested in having your child eat a school-provided breakfast, please fill out the form below.  If you have multiple children and they are choosing different meals, (example:  oldest is eating a grab and go, but the youngest wants hot lunch for the year) please fill out one form per child.  Hot breakfast will be served at the elementary from 7:40 -8:00 a.m. in the cafeteria.  Hot breakfast will be served at the high school beginning at 7:55 a.m. in the commons area.  Grab and Go breakfasts will be distributed to students (who signed up) at the end of each day (for the next morning's breakfast).  Please do not hesitate to call Rhonda Palic at 970-474-3364 or email her at palic_rh@julesburg.org with any questions you may have.  We will check in with students and families periodically throughout the year to gather feedback on the meals we are serving and how we can continue to improve this service for our students.  Thank you and we look forward to a terrific school year.
