Room in the Inn Shoals, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides shelter to any individual in need during the winter months. We do this by partnering with local churches and community organizations from November through March. Volunteers keep Room in the Inn moving! I am available the following nights, our set nights are Sunday, Thursday, and Friday. Additional nights will be dependent on weather.

Hospitality Team (at the hosting church)

I can be available for the following shifts, these will be at the hosting Church.

Set-Up Shift (4:30-6:30pm) volunteers will help set up cots and prepare dinner

Dinner Shift (6-8pm) volunteers will help serve dinner and help clean up after

Evening Shift (8-10pm) volunteers will spend time with guests until lights out

Morning Shift (6-8am) volunteers will help with breakfast and clean up

Intake Team (at pickup location TBD)

Intake Shift at Van Pickup (4:30-6:30pm) volunteers will help with security and check-in

Van Driver (4:30-6:30pm) no special license required

Supply/Special Days Team (at UHAUL storage unit)

Organizing Supply room (during the day)

Delivering supplies to Churches

Special events (will likely occur on Saturdays) such as haircuts and clothing drives
