I am aware that a MenAware Nature Retreat is a mindfulness based retreat which includes camping in a remote area subject to all weather conditions and has a substantial bushwalking component which requires a sound level of fitness.

I am aware that the hikes on the retreat might lead through terrain which is remote and not necessarily accessible by vehicle.

To minimize any risks I have endeavoured to ensure that the retreat is within my capabilities. I have advised the retreat organizers if I am taking any medication or have any physical or other limitation that might affect my participation. I agree to remain with the rest of the group during the retreat and follow the instructions of the leaders.

In voluntarily participating in the MenAware Nature Retreat, I am aware that my participation may expose me to risks that could lead to injury, illness or death, or to the loss of or damage to my property. Those risks include, but are not limited to, slippery on uneven ground or rocks, falling, rocks being dislodged, exposure to bad weather, hypothermia, heat stroke, contagious illness and stings or bites from ticks, spiders or snakes.

I agree that I am joining the Yatra Bushwalking Club Inc. as an associate member for the duration of the retreat. The Yatra Bushwalking Club recommends that I organize my own insurance for the duration of the retreat. I acknowledge that the Yatra Bushwalking Club Inc. has a risk management policy in place.

I am aware that on this retreat required Covid 19 health and safety practices are in place and I will follow and support these guidelines to my best ability.

In submitting this form I acknowledge that the Yatra Bushwalking Club Inc. cannot accept responsibility or liability for theft, loss or injury (even resulting in loss of life) on the retreat under any circumstances. Attending the retreat is at my own risk and I take full responsibility and liability for my own property, health and safety.
