KidWind is excited to be bringing the KidWind Challenge to Madison, WI. Join us and learn how to explore the power of wind with your students.

This free, 3-hour workshop will demonstrate to teachers and team leaders how to teach about wind energy in the classroom, delve into the science and technology around wind turbines and blade design. You'll also learn how to participate in the 2020 KidWind Challenge, and the first ten registrations will receive a free wind turbine kit to help kick off your own team.

The energy-based content, combined with practical standards-connected classroom activities will make it easy to bring renewable energy to your classroom.

This workshop will serve as refresher course if you have previously attended a KidWind Challenge, or if you just want to see what participating in a future challenge might be like. Materials are geared towards 4th - 12th grade levels.

Certificates of attendance for 3 CEU credits will be provided upon request.
