Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL):

RPL for Access to the External Integrated Summative Assessment
Accredited providers and approved workplaces must apply the internal assessment criteria specified in the related curriculum document to establish and confirm prior learning. Accredited providers and workplaces must confirm prior learning by issuing a statement of result or certifying a work experience record.

RPL for Access to the Qualification
Accredited providers and approved workplaces may recognise prior learning against the relevant access requirements.

Entry Requirements:
The minimum entry requirement for this qualification is:
  • NQF Level 4 with Mathematics. 

    • ACADEMIC FEE STRUCTURE

    A. FACE-TO-FACE/ONSITE/CONTACT LEARNING (OVER A PERIOD OF 18 MONTHS)

    OPTION 1: FULL PAYMENT (due by 16th Day of February 2024)
    The Full Course Fee of R45 000 is payable as follows:
    Deposit: R11 250 | Balance Owing: R33 750
    Instalment: R33 750
    Payment: Single

    OPTION 2: MONTHLY (in advance due by 16th Day of February 2024 through to August 2025)
    The Full Course Fee of R45 000 is payable in instalments as follows:

    2024: Deposit: R5 625 | Balance Owing: R16 875
    3 Instalments: R5 625 due by 29th March, 15th May, 15 August 2024 

    2025: Deposit: R5 625 | Balance Owing: R16 875
    3 Instalments:  R5 625 due by 31st March, 15th May, and 16th August 2025

    CONTACT SESSION - DEREGISTRATION AND REFUND POLICY
    The Occupational Certificate: Data Science (NQF 5, Credits 185) spans over a period of 18 Months (i.e. 1.5 years). The course will commence on Monday, 04 March 2024 from 8am to 4pm. The course end date is Wednesday, 18 September 2025.
    1. If the Learner deregisters within 1 month after the commencement of the academic programme, the Learner may be entitled to receive all monies received by Izinkanyezi, less R1000 (One Thousand Rand) of the administrative costs.
    2. If the Learner deregisters within 1 month after commencement, the Learner will be liable for R1000 (One Thousand Rand) of the administrative costs PLUS 50% of the full tuition fee. No amount in respect of study materials will be refunded, and study materials may not be returned to Izinkanyezi.
    3. If the Learner deregisters more than 1 month after commencement of the academic programme, the Learner will be liable for the full tuition fee. No amount will be refunded after deregistration. No amount in respect of study material will be refunded, and study materials may not be returned to Izinkanyezi.
    Izinkanyezi Training and Development (PTY) LTD reserves the right to postpone or cancel a course should there be insufficient delegates. The Learner will be entitled to the paid amount on cancellation of the course.
