In-Person Adventure Play Camps
During the COVID-19 pandemic, young people have missed out on lots of social interaction, physical activity, and opportunities for free play outside of home. And parents are in real need of a break!

Alder Commons, in collaboration with Portland Free Play, is excited to offer Adventure Play Camps to help meet these needs, while we remain vigilant in supporting our collective health.

These camps are best suited for kids from 6 to 11 years old. They will run from Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 4:30pm, but you can drop off or pick up your kids at any time in that window at 4212 NE Prescott St.

Camp Philosophy *
Our Adventure Play Camp does not have a fixed schedule of activities - nearly the entirety of the camp will be focused on free play. This means that the content of the camp will be determined by the kids in attendance each week. We also require that the young people you are registering consent to participating in a camp like this.
