Cherish Mom Mentoring Application

I am so thankful that you have taken the first step to join the Cherish Mentoring Program! Cherish Mentoring is designed to deepen your relationship with God and free you from the pain of the past so you can be the person God made you to be! Remember, you don’t have to have your life together to start mentoring- you just need to be willing to grow!

The particulars about Cherish Mentoring:

1. You will schedule 1 session each week with your mentor for 6 weeks.
2. The Mentor will come to your house so you don’t have to worry about transportation (unless you choose to meet at the Cherish Center).
3. The 7th session will be a graduation dinner at Water of Life on a Sunday night.
4. Each session is about one hour.
5. If you have a baby (or children) you will need a babysitter unless your only child is a newborn.
6. You will be going through the Cherish Foot Steps book with your sponsor. Please let me know if you have difficulty reading.
7. Each day you will have a Journey Step that will take 5-10 minutes to complete.

PART 5: REQUEST

We will try our best to match you with a mentor you could learn from and that we think that you would like. Your mentor will need to have availability at the same time as you.

If there is someone from the Cherish Team or a Sponsor that you would like to have as your mentor (if they are available) then you can put their name(s) here:

PART 6: AGREEMENT

We have put hundreds of hours into developing this mentoring project because you are worth it! BUT it will only be effective if you finish it and put your heart into what you do. So before we begin we want you to make a commitment to finish.

If I need to reschedule I will give my Mentor at least one day notice.

I will work to get a babysitter for our hour together.

I will set aside 5-10 minutes each day to do my Journey Step.

I understand that this might be a first for my mentor too, so I will try to not jump to conclusions about the things she says.

I commit to complete the Mentorship program.

If I run into a problem I will contact Rachel, and not just quit or avoid my Mentor.

I will try to get the most possible from my time with my mentor!

I have carefully read the above Agreement. I agree to the above and hereby release Cherish, Water of Life Community Church and its staff from any and all claims, which I may make against Cherish, Water of Life Community Church, its staff, or anyone in connection with this outreach.
